Took my mother to treat her for a night out at a fine dining restaurant. Really disappointed. Served by a grumpy male waiter who looked like he wanted to be somewhere else. Pork starter was dry and chewy. Venison was also chewy yet pear and Walnut salad was very tasty. Total cost of $170 for 2 people was pricey for... More

This restaurant was recommended to us for a post-dinner dessert. The Molten Chocolate Fondant was chosen, but when it arrived, it was not that at all. It was just a tiny chocolate pudding with the same consistency throughout and there was nothing molten about it, although the flavor was fine. We think at least part of the problem is that... More

The venue is the best part of this restaurant. Tucked away at the end of The Strand, verandah over the harbour, it really is the best spot in town if you're wanting to not be in the main part of the city. Wait staff are well trained and great wine list. And then the food. It's "acceptable" without being standout.... More

A genuinely outstanding meal with very attentive and knowledgable service. The duck shared starter was sublime and the two mains we had (venison and lamb) were both excellent - and there was plenty on the plate. We pudding menu looked fantastic but we too full!

We dined here as a group of four and we all left feeling 'that was a great meal in a lovely place'. The service was attentive and prompt and the staff were knowledgeable about the menu. Service came with a smile and good humour. The food was excellent and could not be faulted. We would all happily dine there again.... More

After a much anticipated visit to Harbourside, we left disappointed. I think there is a lot of hype about this restaurant but the quality of food they serve does not match the inflated prices. Our overall impression was that the menu was trying too hard and got lost along the way. The dishes could have been paired back with less... More

Celebrating a birthday, but left disappointed and planning a less expensive mistake for next outing... Steak perfectly cooked, Tuna too thick so although properly cooked was cold in centre. Accompanying potatoes, expecting a creamy delight was odd tasting, neither of us ate them. Tuna spoilt by being smothered in sauce. Kids menu sadly little excitement, everything with chips - most... I went with a group and the set menu was delicious. Nice view with the lights reflecting off the water at night.

A small group of us were there last Monday evening, no problems with the food or drinks other than that perhaps a few dollars above what we expected. The restaurant was nearly full as there was a large company group in for the evening that were a bit noisy. If you are wanting a harbour view table then you need... More

Gee where do I start. The front desk acts as though you are attending some critical diplomatic event, and need special permission to walk past to the seating. The owner? appears to have an issue showing any form of interpersonal niceties. The duck dish was half full of H2O and then, when I think about it, why be surprised. This... More
