Wife and I dropped in for dinner being Spanish I was looking forward to being served in my native tongue (not) we were served by a friendly polite English waiter . I ordered croquets for entree NO FLAVOUR tasted like mashed potato in breadcrumbs . For mains my wife ordered gnocchi she said it was ok ( not great but... More

This place was pumping and as it was Christmas day everyone was already in a festive mood. It's a large restaurant and needs a large crowd to make it work. Service was pretty much what you would expect on a day like this when everyone arrived at once, neither fast nor slow. we waited in the bar and their service... More

Came here for a large team dinner, food wasn't too bad, pretty tasty and good sized portions, they're not big on vegetables though. Service unfortunately was rather lacklustre with young staff who seemed either out of their depth or not to care. The kitchen managed to coordinate mains for my 15 colleagues to arrive at roughly the same time...mine however... More

I went with a large group of people - something which is a great impediment to evaluating food. However, despite the buzz and the ongoing 'shakes' (it was earthquake Kaikoura Day), I really enjoyed the service and the food. I wasn't exactly sure what nationality this was but if I were to guess it was traditional 'Mexican' rather than Spanish.... More

We had a really friendly English waiter who was very charming and admitted that he was new so was a bit patchy on the menu. He was however funny and charming and made everyone feel very welcome. We ordered a bottle of Chianti which both wait staff called 'She-anti' (have I missed a change in Italian pronunciation ;-) which was... More

The décor of this place is very attractive: tiles, wrought iron, chandaliers. Its a big restaurant, so can take a big group. Happily, we were seated some distance from them. It was a Sunday evening. The waiter did warn me that paella on the menu on a Sunday was cooked to order in individual pans: Monday is the day for... More

Was on our list of places to eat while in Wellington due to a family connection. Sadly that family member wasn't there in the night we went which was disappointing. Loved the tiled ceiling and all the decor. There was quite a buzz around the place as it continued to fill with patrons. Our waiter/s were attentive and friendly throughout... More

Great atmosphere, love the decor, tiled flooring, gorgeous chandaliers and the French tart with salted caramel icecream, water for the tables straight from the fountain... Love it!

I had a business dinner with some colleagues. We had some tapas, and I had a pasta. The tapas were good but service was slow. The pasta was very oily and overpriced. Some others had pizza which was described as "not bad". On the whole ok but too expensive and way too slow.
