Having moved away from wellngton, the Larder was more inconvenient to access but when we had to pick up an overseas visitor, we thought why not visit as it was close. It was like a delicious homecoming. Sarah is not the current Maitre De of the year for nothing. Ordering from the menu was however difficult , torn between the... More

Saturday night dinner here, very good food. Great service! Really friendly and very well trained staff. Nothing special about the location but the food and service make it a must visit.

Have eaten here a few times when out that way and it's always amazing. Food is some of the best in town. They do great breakfast food and amazing lunch, one day we must go for dinner as have heard great things about dinner and if lunch is anything to go by then it'll be great.

Whether you're going for brunch, lunch or dinner (only certain nights of the week for dinner, so check) you'll be impressed by the food and service every time. Owner operated this cafe/restaurant offers casual daytime menus with everything baked on site, and evening meals although only open certain days of the week are more of the fine dining kind. Great... Great staff, great food, nice and cozy interior. We had lunch there and everything was perfect. The location is slightly remote from the CBD, but it is worth going there.Weta Cave is in the neighborhood.

This is not a place to simply pick up a bite to eat on the way to the Weta Cave from the #2 bus stop. It is worthwhile walking the block from Weta Cave even if driving or Ubering. The menu was interesting. We had the pasta and lamb meatballs, the octopus, the sardines (not your Mom's canned type) and... More

Christmas function so it was a nice little cozy setting. Appetizers were amazing and the mains served family style were delicious. The elk was melt in the mouth and the salmon was delicious. The desserts were hard to choose from so I got share. Lovely atmosphere service was fantastic. Great place to try out

We ordered a steak and a goat cheese soufflé, followed by churros for lunch. Delicious, every single morsel. A real treat of a restaurant, definitely go here!

Had coffee and a great scone (date and cardamom) on the way to Weta Cave, then had to have lunch there after. Who would have thought a 'simple' hamburger would taste so good.
