We have not visited this place in a while and were looking for a quick (reasonably early dinner). The place offers an interesting variety of Asian meals with a fair emphasis on malay and indian dishes. We decided to go for a Beef Rendang and a Butter Chicken meal. The Rendang was delicious. Very rich and filling. The butter chicken... More

Monsoon Poon is a trip to the East - it is a little bit of the Orient away from Oriental Bay. The atmosphere is great although the menu did need the help of my iPhone torch to read it! We were there with family including grandchildren and they were catered for too. The sticky pork belly was a stand out... More

Staff were very friendly here, the kitchen was very fast even though the place was very busy! Really enjoyed the fusion food. Loud music created a buzzing atmosphere, but was a little too loud to talk to others comfortably. Good experience!

We went to Monsoon Poon for lunch after reading about it on Trip Advisor. We thought it was very overrated and also overpriced. The New Zealand mussels were fresh, but the broth was not complex, tasting mainly of lime and was spicy. The duck goreng was greasy and cost $24 NZD. The non alcoholic juice cocktails were delicious. Lunch was... More

We love asian food, and i love that this place had a blend of south east asian fare on offer. The mixed plater was great to share - lots of variety and good value. We shared the Shaking Beef for main - it was AMAZING! Beautifully cooked beef that just melted in your mouth. The coconut rice was delicious also.... More

We've had an early diner there. The place is nice. Located in the center. The food was very good. My Bali prawns were delicious. The service was great and quick.
