Met with colleagues for mid-morning meeting. Excellent seating beyond the cafe's street front. Great coffee, great food options- busy and great ambiance in central Wellington.

Had a great experience here at Pravda. The service was average, we went in at a busy time so we had to be seated in the bar area for lunch. We had to ask the waiters to come and take our order. The food was excellent! Would be great if there were more choices.

Pravda Cafe was just around the corner from where I was staying. My main initial reason for visiting it was the WiFi. However I also found the service, decor, food & coffee to be well worth returning for and made several visits during my stay in Wellington.

We were staying some ways a way form Cuba Street, and had started the hike over. Eureka, there to our left and just down the road was Pravda, a name I was familiar with (Nourish group) but had never been to. Not wanting a huge lunch (mistake- as we were relying on Logan Brown to satiate our desperate gourmet desires),... More

We had an absolutely fabulous night here with friends. In fact it's my new favourite restaurant in Wellington. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful and the food was outstanding. I highly recommend Pravda and would like to thank the staff and chef for a lovely evening.

I am a regular visitor to Pravda and am never disappointed. Today I had the scrumptious egg and bacon breakfast (a steal for $10) and delicious coffee. The place was humming with pre-Christmas patrons fuelling up for the last few days of work or last minute Christmas shopping. The service is attentive and the staff are friendly. Love this place!

Pravda rocks! Old world charm, classy, great food and Glen ensures the service is excellent. The coffee is great (evidenced by my daily visit!). Had dinner here with friends last night. I can't go past the fresh pan fried fish -it is always a winner. Adam, our waiter, was professional, attentive and positive. His enthusiasm was infectious. Welcome to NZ Adam.

I think I have now been coming here for my birthday dinner for the last three years and never disappointed! The first two visits involved delicious steak meals - the scotch was my favourite over the rib-eye but the latter was also great. This last time I had the market fish which came served with the best potato salad and... More

Pravda translates to mean "The Truth". And nothing could be more honest about Wellington's coffee culture than this cafe, bar and bistro.

Set in the heart of the city amongst the hustle and bustle of share traders, commuters and visitors to the Lambton shopping precinct, Pravda is located in an elegant building with towering vaulted ceilings and hanging chandeliers of crystal.

The menu includes classic European dishes as you would expect of a busy modern bistro. Pravda is home to Wellington's Immigrant's Son Coffee brand.

Pravda as the name implies offers the honest simplicity of bistro food, freshly roasted coffee, wines of the world and the welcome of an old friend.
