Having seen a positive review for this restaurant, and a we were visiting Mediaplex museum nearby we went there for lunch. We ordered one special lunch deal with vegetable curry, two buttered chicken( their speciality) ,mango lassi, and apple juice. The meal came with a large helping of very good naan bread and a large bowl of rice. Service was... More

we arrived on a Friday night having booked, the place was moderately busy, we were served drinks immediately, also had our BYO. Served with shared starters, mixed veg platter & mixed meat platter followed by mains, which we shared. Great service, friendly & efficient & well priced.

The staff were quite lovely, always smiling. The food on the other hand, came out extremely fast which was an obvious indicator that their food is simply being reheated. I ordered mild but even then it had no real flavor. The naans were okay, probably the only thing I enjoyed. Will not return to this place....

If you wanna know what does it mean to eat contemporary Indian food - try Tulsi restaurant. Order: Mango lassi or Irani/Masala chai for drinking, onion pakora as a starter. Then (as a vegerarian) contunue to taste: plain rice with with tikka masala, spinach paneer or dal, plus Garlic naan. Everything is so delicious. Not salty, spicy or heavy, just... More

Went here for dinner whilst visiting relatives. Service was very slow and we had to wait to get attention of waiter just to take a drinks order, then it took along time to get the drinks. They looked short of staff. When we ordered eventually, it took quite a while for the food to arrive. They forgot the naan breads... More

Impromptu visit for dinner. Food was good, not amazing. Decor was nice. Good service too. May just have been what I ordered, but I found it a little blah. Shame That said I would try it again, just in case.

Waiter was attentive but hard to understand. Starter was good though the vegetable samosa was rather soft and doughy. We like spicy food but not the burn your mouth off hot so we asked for the curries to be a medium. ..should have gone for hot as they lacked a kick but were still tasty. We were given complimentary popadom... More

Tulsi has been around forever and it used to be great but I went there the other night for a friends birthday and was pretty disappointed. The food was very bland. The butter chicken just tasted like tomato; there was no creamy mouth feel, the saagwala was just bland; I couldn't even be bothered finishing it. The breads were nice.... More

All fine. But not spectacular. The best Indian is at The Balti House in Miramar. I think he spread his wings too far, and needs to concentrate on each restaurant instead of building the empire.
