Came here on a Thursday night for their $20 steak and beer deal with some friends. Waited for service for 20minutes whilst standing at the bar, I saw they were under the pump so didn't mind too much. We ordered our steak and forgot to tell them how I wanted it cooked so would assume for it to be edible... More

We ate here due to proximity and the idea of the ribs special appealed. However they had run out (and it was only 6:00) but did offer us the next days special (no thanks). Our first wait staff must have been new as she could not answer our question but we finally got an experienced person and all was well.... More

Ate there three times and had the ribs the first night, like the way they brought the food out on a buthers block with the fries in a deep fryer basket quite neat presentation and they were good the third night just the beer battered fries and they were also good. Also good beverages there

We had breakfast over 2 days and couldnt fault it. The Pancakes are home made. You just dont get that anymore and you can tell the difference. Highly recommend.

Typical bar atmosphere - pleasant staff. The lunch deals are good value. I tried the rump steak deal and it was very good. Handy parking - close to Hagley park

We fancied a roast dinner and having previously eaten here (18 months ago) decided we'd go again. The pub/ restaurant/ bar was very quiet only 2 tables occupied. They found us a high chair, but there was no back to it- the waitress tried to look for it for 5 minutes or so, we improvised and used a jacket as... More

Service was slow, the restaurant was almost empty yet still took just over 45 mins for lunch to arrive. The lady who took our payment gave us a discount and was apologetic which is why I didn't give 1 star. This was my fourth time there. The first two times were awesome and it was our new fave place to... More

With all the roadworks happening all around the hotel, it was surprising to see The Running Bull buzzing. Nice friendly pub
