On our last night in New Zealand after a 15 day driving trip, we were tired and wanted so good comfort food. When I saw May's, I thought it looked interesting so we drove from our hotel and found the place just opening. My husband got Pad Thai and I got a red curry shrimp dish. Wow, both dishes were... Loved the peanuts in the pad thai and absolutely loved the green curry. Moderate level of spiciness (you can choose from mild, moderate or spicy) was really good and spicy. The green curry was so good that the next night we went back for seconds.

As the title says, my wife and I tremendously enjoyed our order of spicy drunken noodles with chicken. We ordered it "medium" spicy and it was certainly on the top end of what she and I can handle (despite having a significant tolerance to heat) so be wary of ordering it too spicy. Again, for us it was perfect and... More

We ate here on our last night in New Zealand. The restaurant was mostly full, but we still had extremely fast service! The food was delicious and so fresh!

We love good authentic Thai food and search it out in NZ and overseas. Outside of a place we found in Fort Collins Mays Thai would rate up there as one of the best meals we have ever had. If you are going for the meal and really nice staff you won't be disappointed. If you are going for a... More

We have started using this Thai takeaway as our regular. I probably wouldn't dine in because the ambience and decor could do with a bit of work but that doesn't matter if you're taking away! The green curry is just so delicious. The Thai basil and chilli stir fry is a great dish if you are after something fresh and... More

Visited on a recommendation and must say we were extremely pleased with the service and the most importantly the flavours of the curry and their recommendation of the MasMun curry. The place is not very big but big enough to seat people comfortably and away from earshot of others. The food was freshly prepared and we found it slightly expensive... More

We go here often, it's not far from home and they always do a great feed. Entrees and main courses are always good. We have dined in, but often do take out. The prices are a little bit high compared with similar restaurants, but we don't mind paying.
