Drive up to the back door for easy parking in busy Riccarton. Last reviewed 16 months ago and not much has changed. Sunday evening and more folk getting food to go than dining in. We had a tandoor platter, aloo gobi (cauli and potato in gravy) and a garlic naan. It was exactly the right size for two of us,... More

Walked into this place on Riccarton Road not expecting much and ordered for the most popular dishes on the menu. We were taken aback by the courteous service offered by the staff and how quick the service was. This place by far serves the best butter chicken and cheese and chilli naan that I have had in New Zealand. Kudos... More

Our family of 6 dined here recently on a Friday evening. It was quiet when we arrived at 6 pm but soon filled up. We shared several starters, onion bhaji, Murg and achari Tikka and paneer pakora. All very good. We then shared the mango chicken, butter chicken, and lamb curry with garlic naan. The food was very good and... More

I am initially not a fan of indian cuisine, my first visit I ordered something I can handle which was mango chicken and since then I kept coming back. I keep trying out different ones every visit or a taste of something different. Costumer service is excellent and ambiance is good. I usually come in early dinner or lunch when... More

The restaurant was busy but service was friendly and efficient. We shared a vegetable pakora which was tasty but rather stodgy. However, the naan bread was light, crisp and very good. My chicken jalfrezi was succulent and very good and my partner was very happy with his chicken Rogan josh . Our overall experience was very good. It's some time... More
