We just had a disappointing evening that was justified by the manager due to not having enough staff on hand. That doesn’t explain a bug in the salad though. I wouldn’t recommend Tatsumi but that is only based on our one off experience.
Exceptional restaurant with genuine service, broad wine options, beautiful delicious food, can not fault. Highly recommend the set menu - every course was beautifully presented, delicious and fresh. Great Japanese fusion theme - the best dishes were the least expected - lamb cutlet and pork...rib, melt in the mouth flavours just done with simplistic class.More
Food as usual was brilliant but with a large group & hungry mouths a few bowls of rice were needed. However on number 14 we were told that would be our last. Money is money just cook up another pot in the cooker surely. 👍😂...but some outstanding dishes for Queenstown.More
Great japanese. Lovely restaurant with wonderful staff. We were working in Queenstown for a few months and came here every weekend. Great sashimi, prawn skewers mmmm and softshell crab followed by cold sake.
We were in Queenstown for 5 nights. Had already eaten at Tatsumi on a previous visit so reserved a table for one night. We ended up spending another night at Tatsumi as well!
Absolutely divine food.
Cannot fault anything about this restaurant.
The Service, the...Food, the Ambience.
Thank you so much!
Best wishes for a speedy Trans-Tasman Bubble.
