A very cozy place with tasty food and friendly service. A little bit pricey compare to the small portion. However really enjoy this place. Must try: Sake bomb

I visit here every single time I go to queenstown. Excellent service, always welcoming and great authentic food. They make me feel like I am in hometown Izakaya having fun with old friends. Time for next visit soon.

Sorry to leave a bad review but you spoilt it for us last time we were in. I had two friends in town and I made sure we took them there as it's all ways been good in there... this time we got forgotten about a lot. We asked for saki bombs and we got a 'REALLY?!' and a funny... More

I had never tasted sake before so my husband & I went in to see what it was all about. The gentleman there was really passionate about sake and let us taste quite a few different sakes. It was really interesting tasting the different flavours and all were much nicer than I expected! Eventually we settled on a favourite each... More

Absolutely stunning place. The food is ready quite quickly, absolutely divine. The staff is very friendly and the place is quite small but with a good atmosphere. I have been there a few times and will keep going. Just amazing ! Oh and try their plum wine on ice, so yummy !

Went on a recommendation without booking. Booked out! So booked a table & went back next night. Best queenstown food choice we made. Fresh sashimi. Tofu, soup & sake - perfect. Warm atmosphere. Private booths. Already recommended to best friends heading over.

My partner and I craved some Japanese food during our trip to Queenstown and we were recommended Yakitori Daruma by a friend from their own experience. This little cute bar is sort of hidden away and entry is off the Main Street. It does not disappoint though. Even though it's small, it has a very lovely and authentic Japanese ambience.... More
