Just discovered this trendy little place on our last day in Queenstown. We were so disappointed that we didn't find out it was so close sooner. We rang for some take out and instantly regretted it as soon as we walked in the door. Fabulous ambiance, such a chill place. The food was well priced and delicious. The owner was... More

The husband/wife team who own this place make the experience. She is in charge of the kitchen. He is in the front, making friends, remembering everyone's name, recommending wines for you to try. The dinner was excellent. I had the lamb shank and asked for the mushroom risotto instead of potatoes - no problem. Very accommodating and delicious!

The restaurant is situated five minute's drive out of Queenstown along the road to Sunshine Bay. We arrived for an evening meal without pre-booking but were shown to a table without any problems. The staff were very friendly and talked us through the menu which was very varied with European and Asian dishes available. There is a good selection of... More

It was Saturday and Queenstown was packed full of people having a good, but very boisterous time, so my wife and I decided to head a few miles out of town and booked a meal at VKnow. We were very pleased with our decision : A warm welcome, good food and beer at reasonable prices and attentative service.

Seafood Pizza was a clear winner here. The Ragout was not too flash. Ordered take away to our hotel room and the service was very quick.

I was in Queenstown for the first time in December, and was looking for a decent place to have dinner. What a surprise! This small place is a bit out of the way, and worth the trip. Great food, wonderful service. I'll be back.

Every year we return to Queenstown for 3 months and my husband and I always book at VKnows for our first night out. Never have we been disappointed in the service or the food. The most difficult decision is which of the dishes to choose! I have tried them all and not one of them Disappoints. Maybe the mixed seafood... More

They may have a good reputation and be busy but that doesn't give the right to say "ring me later" and hang up on people who are trying to give a takeaway order.

This is a 6-7 minute drive out of Queenstown in a residential area, but well worth it. The food is absolutely first rate, different from the usual tourist menu, served by one of the owners in afriendly, laid back but efficient manner while the other owner cooks - brilliantly! Very informal, unusual, relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere . Great wines, great food and excellent value for money. No views, but if you're concentrating on the food, wine and conversation who cares? Highly recommended.
