Great woodfired Pizza. Good indoor and outdoor rustic appeal. A nice craft beer on tap, a reasonable range of local wines (like made within 10 kms).

Best pub we visited in NZ (we're from the UK). Friendly staff, great food and perfect location.Seemed like a good mixture of locals and visitors and no tourist hordes.
Atmosphere plus in this small, cosy, rustic tavern in the midst of wine country... with the fire roaring our pizzas, cooked in the outdoor oven, were absolutely delish! Welcoming and relaxing... a must visit to this delightful place just a short drive from Queenstown.

Simply a great bar with simple great food. You could stay for a while and be very happy. It's a great alternative to some of the winery restaurants.
Very pleased you enjoyed your time here, it is a great unique little spot Thanks for the review, see you next time Cheers Gibbston Tav
