Our party of 4 including two visitors from London called in here today for lunch having heard rave reviews and were so disappointed we left. We asked if we could maybe have a platter or something similar before we did the wine tasting. We were then shown the menu and had it all read out to us and felt what... More

This is a must do outing & bookings are a necessity. What lovely surroundings & atmosphere wine tasting for the beginner to the experienced they catered for all. The food was exceptional we went with the TTC menu, that's (Trust The Chef) menu & we weren't disappointed.

We ordered a cheese platter and a few wine cocktails. The cheeseboard was delicious and presented really nicely! Loved the large grass area just a few steps above the dining area where we could laze and sit leisurely. Lucky we went on a gorgeous sunny day and the atmosphere was amazing.

Much has been said of the venue (yes it's stunning), of the food (yes it's outstanding) and the wine (we were in Rose heaven) but what really stood out for us was the service or more particularly our waiter Dan. We were a group of 16 women down from Auckland for a hens weekend so it needed a particular type... More

In all our international traveling, we have never eaten somewhere as pretentious as Amisfield. We spent $39.00 to receive four finger size pieces of fish and four edible flower petals. Others having the same dish had two cherry tomatoes included. When we queried the waiter if this was all there was, he returned after we had finished our four pieces... More

This is a lovely place just outside of Queenstown. We chose to go with the "Trust the chef" menu, which is four courses with a wine match to celebrate a birthday . The staff were very knowledgeable about both the food and the wine and explained each course beautifully. The meals that were dished up consisted of ingredients I would... More

We had great expectations as this place came highly recommended. Upon arrival there was a huge tour bus parked in front of the beautiful stone bldg. That should have been our first clue. When we entered the building 20 minutes before our reservation time we were told everyone was early today and they suggested we do a wine tasting. We... More

Lovely setting but food was a bit 'yeah nah'. Great service and a lovely wine tasting room. Not sure if I would go back but everyone should try it.

The food is delicious, the setting is ideal, great wines - however it certainly doesn't come cheap. $500 for a family and we were still hungry (although loved the taste) A special occasion only

The day started with amazing bloody Mary's. we needed them. Then we progressed to a very very long lunch with fantastic food and wine. What a special day. One for the memory banks.
