La Toscana is a good pizza restaurant. On the night we went people were trying to get a table but were turned away. The pizzas were a thin crust which I personally like. They were not as heavy and when finished you don't feel over full. This restaurant has a huge selection of beer, wine and cider to the point... More

A standard Italian menu but there was no veal offered, in fact it did not seem to be at any of the Italian restaurants in town. The meals we ordered were reasonable without being outstanding

we were unsure where to go for dinner, lots to choose from, very glad we dined here. The food was awesome and service good. So much food. We choose the dinner for 2, $45 special, garlic bread, 2 pizza/pasta and 2 desserts.

Do they really know what a pizza is? What they serve is rather a pretty bourretive pie. It is not enough to have an Italian restaurant name for good food. I recommend the boss to take a trip to italy and go eat a real pizza. We did not like it at all with my wife.

This us a great little Italian Restaurant. We had a pepperoni and a gluten free chicken.brie and cranberry. Both were really tasty and cooked to perfection. We took them away and the girl saw us coming and bought them out to the car with smile. Very friendly staff and a great place for Italian food to eat in or rake... More

We really loved the pizzas here so much we came here 2 nights in a row. The meal prices in Te Anau are through the roof high, it's hard to find a decent main course under $30-35. Here we had 2 medium pizzas for that prices and it was plenty. You could even get away with sharing a large pizza... More

We had soup, salad and pizza. Pizza had fresh veggie toppings, a little too much gooey cheese. Salad was fresh, house dressing was garlic overkill, vegetable soup tasted to much like canned tomatoes, with added sugar. Waitresses were very pleasant.

Stopped in after a long day on Milford Sound. Even though I had no reservation, they seated me immediately, and service was prompt throughout the meal. The soup of the day was a tomato-based hearty vegetable, and it was both hearty and homemade. I had the gluten-free pasta with the meat and red wine sauce, and it was delicious! Meals... More

Mark the owner of La Toscana knows how to ensure that hospitality is alive and well. After a muck up of our booking which resulted in no table being available for us at the booked time, Mark quickly stepped up and invited us to go to a local bar and have a drink on him, and said they would ring...
