Very average place wifi unreliable. Staff not very friendly or helpful. Quite pricey for the quality of food. My salad was plain but ok, but my partners green lip mussels were overcooked and some weren't cleaned properly. She left more than she ate. We were sat outside because we had large bags, but smokers spoilt the location.

Joined friends for dinner night before starting Kepler track. Immediately greeted with surly waitstaff, including a woman who appeared to be the duty manager. When a friend with food allergies inquired about the condiments and toppings on a burger, he was told to "look at the menu." The food that then arrived was then disappointing, bland and lukewarm. Not worth... More

Having had breakfast and two dinners at the Olive Tree... this would be my preference pick for Te Anau. The Big Breakfast was superb and very generous, and I would highly recommend. Dinner, however, was the highlight. Such was the menu and wine list and the food quality, that we would happily return for a third time to try yet... More

The ambience is old style, there's plenty of room, portion sizes are generous and value for money is tops. The breakfasts we had were good square meals, coconut milk and quinoa were notable by their absence! I'd recommend going here if you're hungry, you won't be disappointed!

We had been recommended a much more pricey restaurant but after reading reviews decided this would be more to our liking. We were not disappointed! Although they were much busier then they expected, I.e. Understaffed, The staff were friendly and helpful and warned us it might be a bit of a wait. It really wasn't. We enjoyed the very large... We had set off quite early from Queenstown to visit Milford Sound, and this was the planned breakfast stop, a bit more than half way there. I had the scrambled eggs on sourdough toast with fresh orange juice. Just what I needed. Everyone else enjoyed their breakfast too. The staff were attentive, and the place was nicely appointed. We were... More
