This is my favourite Cafe for breakfast , brunch or lunch in Bathurst. Since moving here 2 years ago every meal we have had here has been consistently excellent. They serve Fish River Roasters coffee, which is an awesome, local blend. I have tried many menu options. Today's lunch was the Carrington - poached egg, smashed avo on a sweet potato rosti with balsamic beetroot and green beans in butter. All so fresh. They source a lot of local product for the menu, including wines. Hubby can't go past the Morse burger, a twist on egg and bacon. Local egg, Trunkey Creek Bacon , tomato relish and a hash brown on a damper roll. They often have a blackboard special for variety. And have family pies if you are in need of a night off from cooking.

Three generations of our family had breakfast in Harvest this morning - our order ranged from half serves to a big breakfast and everyone was delighted.
Our grandaughter struggled to find a menu choice but the exceptionally helpful young server organised a sandwich to suit her plain tastes.
Bountiful plates of fresh local produce, including perfectly cooked local eggs and Trunkey Creek Bacon, were served promptly, with smiles, and they were soon emptied.
Harvest has outdoor seating in the sun or in the shade and ample, sturdy tables indoors.
How much did I like Harvest? I am going back on Wednesday . . . that's how much :-)

We stopped at the Information Centre Bathurst and decided to try the Harvest Café - so glad we did. Their Covid safe attitude was excellent - from signing in on the app, to well spaced and sanitized tables and chairs we felt very safe. The staff were friendly and helpful, the coffee was excellent and the food delicious. I had eggs Florentine but without the hollandaise sauce - the poached eggs were cooked to perfection, best I've ever had. My husband had the whiting and chips and salad which he said was delicious. A great place to stop if passing through Bathurst or for coffee before hitting the shops.

We were with a group of 12 for lunch on Saturday 28th. The weather was so hot, staff offered to move our tables under the shade of nearby trees for our comfort, but the huge umbrellas provided sufficient shade. Service was extremely efficient, all drinks and food were delivered quickly, wait staff were very pleasant and the food was delicious. Would recommend this great cafe.

Poor quality for the price. The $39 big breakfast (Wahluu) was completely overpriced, with over done poached eggs and a McCains hash brown. For what I paid, the cook should at least know how to poach an egg properly and have more pride than deep frying a frozen product from Coles. A few unwilted spinach leaves scattered on top does not scream quality. The "toast" was just warm bread, the bacon not crispy- a tragedy considering it was from Trunkey Creek. Won't be back- many better breakfast options in Bathurst.

We're sorry to hear our poached eggs were over-done. They should not have been delivered to you that's for sure.
We claim to use a majority of local produce. We don't claim that we use 100% local produce. The local producers we use on the Wahluu supply the eggs, the sour dough, the bacon and a local business supplies the greens. In this instance we use a pre-made hash brown. We have our house made sweet potato rosti on another dish.
We are naturallly disappointed that this dish wasn't up to scratch. We've taken your comments on board & discussed how we can make improvements to our service.

A lovely Cafe located conveniently at the local tourism centre. There is plenty of parking and charging machines for electric cars.
I had a delicious tomato, feta, pumpkin and spinach fritatta with chutney, served with a generous, fresh salad.
My Dad, who loves his coffee, said his was excellent.

I’ve noticed visiting a lot of cafes and restaurants that there is an underlying tension due to COVID. Not at Harvest, even with social distancing in place and a sanitising station set up my Mum and I were greeted with a friendly smile and a lovely welcome. The food was delicious, with locally sourced goods and came out quickly and the view is really pretty. Well done for keeping up a positive vibe in a difficult time for hospitality.

One of my favourite spots in Bathurst. I took my sister and dad there this week and Dad declared the homemade sausage roll the best he's ever had! All-day breakfast and lunch are a plus.
Staff were assertive but respectful when a customer tried to enter the building with a dog and without a mask. I've always felt that Covid is taken very seriously here, in what must be a challenging time for hospitality.
Looking over the oval means kids can run around or sit on a picnic rug and plenty of room inside for a pram. Service is always friendly and efficient.
Highly recommend!

Located next to the Bathurst Information Centre this smart eatery has something for everyone like tasty relishes, sauces and the delicious Gin and Tonic Marmalade can be purchased.
Plenty of parking and seated shaded areas overlook a vast manicured sports field.
Pet Friendly seating available. Delicious.. Real Milkshakes are a real treat as is the friendly staff presenting tasty meals. Well Done chef.

Went here for breakfast and afternoon tea, both 10/10. The food was delicious, the location great (next to the Tourist Bureau) and the service was brilliant.
They catered for our dietary needs too and also had a nice selection of food and local products to buy. Seating both inside and out which was comfortable and exceptionally clean.
Visited twice during our trip. Would definitely recommend and go back again....

We had a great breakfast of local produce and great coffee. the service was also prompt between ordering and the food getting to the tables. hopefully the weather will be better next time and we can sit outside.

What a pity - we tried this cafe after a few months away from town and were incredibly disappointed with our experience. The staff were dismissive and rude about my difficulties signing in and made me feel like an idiot. Not only are you treated like a child (“we have to SEE the green tick”) they make me feel like an idiot. Won’t be returning to be belittled again.

We just thoroughly enjoyed a pulled pork burger & a grilled chicken & haloumi burger. The tea & coffee were also excellent. Customer service is always very good. It's lovely to be greeted by happy faces.

We visited, possibly unwisely, on Mother's Day. All the tables inside were taken when we arrived, and we were just tossing up whether to head back to Sydney as it was chilly outside, when space became available. Staff quickly moved tables and chairs around so that we could sit with our friends.
I had bacon and eggs and my partner had eggs on toast. We were asked how we liked our eggs cooked, and that's how they arrived. The bacon was nice and crispy. Both served with delicious relish, sourdough toast and great coffee.
It's only the second time I've had a meal here, but it won't be the last.

We had brunch on Queens birthday. The coffee was great and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and organised considering how busy they were and we love that they serve local produce.
The only downside were the meals themselves. They were very basic and, we felt, overpriced. We'd return for a coffee but doubt we'll dine again.

Thanks for your review. We love hearing the positive things you have to say about our Café. We take on board your comments that the menu was basic and overpriced. The current workplace climate in hospitality creates challenges we meet, in part, by adapting the menu especially during times when we know we're going to be very busy such as a public holiday. Our menu changes regularly.
We put in place a surcharge on PH - which is widely advertised - so that we can be open on those days despite the crippling cost of labour on Public Holidays. This would have contributed to the cost on the day.
We are proud of our offering - especially the use of local products.
We hope you find on your next visit, some menu items that are to your liking.
