Amazing array of delicacies to choose from but sadly no more green frog cakes! Prices seem a bit OTT too. What we had was delicious but really went there for the green frogs!

It has been quite a few years since we were last in Dubbo, so I particularly wanted to visit the Village Bakery. When we arrived on the Saturday, they were rather busy, being about one o'clock in the afternoon. We still managed to order our focaccias and find a spare table within a reasonable amount of time, though. The food... More

Appears to trade on past and being a bakery. Good selection of cakes and rolls. A bit overpriced with coffee not great. Good to call in at a quiet time as the busy times you need to fight for a place at the counter.

Good coffee and great variety of pies, sandwiches and cakes. Could offer higher quality cakes / sweets - they are stuck in the 1950s with their sweet offerings - however more contemporary with foccacia, great turkish bread and wraps lunches. Howver I haven't noticed gluten free offerings - why not use rice flour?

One of the better bakeries we have visited. A good selection for breakfast (and lunch) Pies and rolls/sandwiches were great and so was the coffee. If you are in town, this place is surely worth a visit. We would definitely come here again.

Stopped by for some pies late one afternoon. The prices were premium, the pies weren't. I've had better steak & kidney than this.

A great start to the day - quick friendly service, great coffee, delicious breakfast (2 slices of wholemeal toast with smashed avo & feta, served with lemon wedge), sat at a table by the fireplace - all at a very reasonable price. And the easy parking in the open air carpark right next door made it a quick and easy... More

We have stopped here a few times on our way through Dubbo - now we plan our trip around it. Our visit today was again great. The service is quick, efficient and friendly. There is room to sit there and eat or you can take it away. There is a children's playground. There on clean toilets on site. And most... More

The village bakery offers you a sit down bakery experience. They claim to have Australia's best pies, they are very good but not sure if they're the best. The service was good and quick but there were quite a few dirty tables when we arrived. Overall good food, sit down experience.
