Up in Newy for a wedding and had brekky here with 2 other couple friends. The food here is amazing. Unique, scrummy and filling. My French Earl Grey was served already brewed so I could drink it straight away - that was a big plus in my book! We had blueberry pancakes which were fluffy, soft and delicious, the salted... More

Came here for a coffee as the hotels just wasn't good enough...finally after a few days I came in for breakfast and was impressed with my smashed avocado with feta cheese mixed into it. Served on toast with poached eggs was perfect. The cherry tomatos provided just the right amount of acid whilst the lemon juice on the rocket provide... More

Visit every so often for a coffee, always delicious. Menu reads and looks really nice and so does the food coming out.

We've been here a couple of times before and were impressed. On this occasion the food was not pleasant. I had gnocchi with basil pesto and pinenuts. The gnocchi was stogy and the sauce seemed to have a cream base opposing the tartness of the basil. I was not able to eat very much of this dish. My husband had... More

Nice coffee, great brunch, you pay for the quality. Don't be put off by the subtle disdain you're receiving off the staff, this is standard good Cafe behavior. If you're getting takeaway on a sunny day, go for a walk through the mall to Newcastle beach.

Well it's lived up to expectations and its rep is deserved. Great coffee, lovely vibe, quick service, good food. Maybe more than 4 but I didn't have lunch so can't say (yet).

The dishes were of high quality and delicious. The place is tiny, with just several tables. I came with my wife and three kids, and it was a bit difficult to find a convenient place to sit. The food is rather sophisticated, so not very appropriate for kids. My younger ones just asked for an out-of-menu simple cheese toast.

Very limited menu but fresh Danish and the banana bread with real butter made a refreshing change. And the coffee was good
