We always like to try new places and we're so glad we visited Connors this morning. Very attentive staff and big menu. I was very impressed with my runny eggs and savoury mince on toast. My life ordered a stack which was also very impressive.

I have been coming to Connors for 10 years. It has been my favourite breakfast in Burleigh throughout this time. Yesterday I went with my wife and son for his birthday. He had had a big night out with his friends so we made it brunch (11.30 am). The food was great as usual, but the service was SO slow... More

Went with friends on New Years day. Kudos for being open, but they probably would have been better off staying closed. We were led to believe that staff issues were responsible for the episode of Fawlty Towers that unfolded before us. Service was ad hoc and demand clearly outstripped their ability to supply. To their credit, they gave us free... More

This cafe is part of a bustling strip in Burleigh. First of all - $4.70 for a double macchiato is a ripoff, even though it was good. Felt like they are taking us for a ride there. The food was filling, without being great. Have been numerous times over the years and I'd try again, but not another after that... More

Staff were excellent. The big breaky was nice. The corn fritter was just ok - not the nicest sweet corn, tomatoes were stewed not grilled and who serves just one lonely fritter?

While I know that accidents can happen, there was no apology and the price of one of our coffees wasn't even offered as a discount. No compensation whatsoever. It really put me off and it was all I could think about while trying to start again, so I ended up not eating at all. Such a shame as the menu... More

My first and last visit to Connors today, what a disappointing way to finish a perfect 3 day stay in beautiful Burleigh. The breakfast was smothered in green stuff that I think was some sort of basil and lime sauce, my poached eggs were cold and hard, the toast, was undercooked cold and soggy ( they had no idea what... Having eaten here many times over the years and we came for breakfast at the end of our holiday. We were very disappointed. Poached eggs cooked to the consistency of hard boiled, grilled tomatoes well under cooked, sour dough had run out and the meals cold. Coffee was good and staff pleasant. Apparently under new management, hopefully things will improve.

Arrived at 7 am on a Saturday morning only 3 other people dining.Asked for some water whilst we looked at the menu and the waitress pointed to the tap ! Not a good start ! The food arrived and can only be described as a mess on a plate !! Everything was soggy and awful for the cooked breakfast. As we... More

Have come here a few times over a couple of years for brunch and lunch. Food and coffee generally good. Service can be a bit slow if busy (seem to attract a strong breakfast/brunch crowd).
