My wife and I often visit Elaia's for the best coffee and club sandwich, rissoto and fish are also very good, staff are always very friendly and service excellent. Parking usually no problem and atmosphere great why go anywhere else!!!

Had breakfast with my daughter and while there was nothing to complain about, neither did the experience blow us away. The service was good, quick and attentive but as it was a workday the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. The meal size was good but at $26 for the vegetarian breakfast, that should have been a given. The problem was that... More

Visited early evening after a long absence. The dinner menu has a good range of food such as risotto, fish and chips, salmon or steaks. Not a lot of choice in each category, but sufficient to cater for different tastes. The room itself and the staff were pleasant. Food is not at all outstanding, but quite OK for a casual... More

I had the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. The hollandaise sauce was perfect. Service was vert good. A bit pricey at $22.50, otherwise I'd have given 5 stars.

Well... I know some peeps like it, but it really is a pretty over-rate cafe. The meals are over priced for what you get, they take too long to get to you for what they are and the service is too try-hard. We do really appreciate genuine good polite, friendly and knowledgable service, but can read the act when it... More

The food here is really nice and consistently so, we have been here multiple times and cannot fault the quality of the meals. The drinks are also nice, to an acceptable standard. Prices are slightly high which is why we don't eat here more frequently.

Repeat customers for brunch. Food as always was good quality and plenty of it. Family had a variety of cooked breakfast options and all were happy and quiet...... too busy eating. Museli with berries was also a big hit coffee was good. Service this time was a little disjointed, had to ask for water 3 times and there was a... More

We had breakfast here on our first morning and it was so great we came back for our last breakfast before leaving Launceston. Food is fabulous and the staff can not be faulted. Don't leave Launceston with out coming here. I'm sure their lunch and dinner are just as great. Thanks Elaia for a great experience.

Very expensive!! All our meals were cold. Ordered the Elaia breakfast which was $30 and it was as if it had come out of the fridge. The other three meals were also cold. To their credit we weren't charged. The staff were friendly and polite. Wouldn't go back.
