I like to vary my experiences and also like to be objective on the day.The visit to this Cafe left a great deal of displeasure on this occasion. A party of three of us arrived at 1.30pm the cafe has an outside seating area which was quite busy but there where several tables vacant, unfortunately piled high with empty plates, unfinished food,glasses... Stopped here on our return to Perth. Easily found a parking space outside and made our way to the back of the café. The view is interrupted by the sand mining opposite but it proved to be a talking point with our group. We found the two crumpet options, savoury and sweet interesting, but found the actual home made crumpets... More

They have an interesting menu for a cafe in Bunbury. Very small but not cramped. The staff can be a bit robotic.

Lovely setting if you're lucky enough to get riverside table. Excellent food that is not the standard cafe fare - good options for something a little different

The area at the back of the cafe looks over the water. When we visited it was less crowded than the area near the front door of the cafe, and was a good spot for a quiet afternoon tea. (less noisy). Meal was generous, and well presented. Beetroot jam was delicious, and staff were happy to package up uneaten portion... More

As I had heard so many good reports of The Happy Wife we thought we try it out, unfortunately I felt our lunch was a little average. My daughter had the scrambled eggs and thought that was nice and I had the pie of the day - chicken, leek & mushroom with salad. Well the salad was just a mix... More

Medioker experience, had a salad with dry chicken. We ordered a croissant which was unbaked. The meat pie had a rock hard shell. Won't visit again.

Great little cafe situated on the inlet. Delicious, unique food at a reasonable price. Excellent service and staff. Would highly recommend it!
