Great Scrolls. Worth the drive just for them. Indoor and outdoor seating. A very busy summertime café as the food is consistently good. Buzzing over the summer period with great views of the sea at your disposal and a huge reserve over the road if you wish to sit on the grass and take in the views along with a... More

Called in for breakfast on the way up to Coromandel Town. Had a fantastic coffee and a superb individual bacon and egg pie. Busy little place but good service.

Yes, the place is warm and inviting. Yes the food is good. Yes, the people are friendly. Yes, they have an unique perspective on the universe, but at these prices, I expect valet parking, someone placing a bib on me and another shining my shoes....

Nice to find a cafe with a unique personality! Delicious and interesting menu. Very helpful friendly staff. Lovely sitting outside in the courtyard with view out towards the sea and big pohutukawas.

Too expensive for a cafe. Good location, good view of the magnificent pohutukawa trees in the park on the opposite side of the road but i couldn't afford to fling $25 on a simple plate of fish n chips.

I stopped here for breakfast with a group of friends when passing through. My meal was the sausage breakfast - sausages, eggs, hash stack, tomato and toast. It was very tasty, but the sausages were tin, and at $19, seriously over-priced. $14 would be more realistic. The coffee (flat white) was decidedly average. The cafe setting is very nice, and... This is a nice cafe which consistently provides good service and nice food. The location is great, with a nice outlook. A very good place to have a coffee, ice cream or meal after a walk on the beach, experiencing some of the great walking tracks in the hills, or just on the way down the coast.

Great food and coffee in a nice atmosphere!! The menu covers a wide range of nutritious and delicious meals, fresh juices and cakes. The perfect place to rock up in your camper van to have a break from 'easy food on the road' :)))) Great service as well!
