This was meal very much as I had expected. A no thrills buffet Xmas dinner. There was a reasonable selection. The tables were however presented better than I had expected.

Great value breakfast & also they offer a varied selection. Friendly helpful staff are always on hand.. Nice to start the day reading the daily paper provided..... of what's happening in the local community, or look over a magazine while enjoying a cuppa. They open early which can be helpful & close late & well priced. It's a good value... More

Open early and closing late this delicious and reasonably priced bar and bistro is a good option for a drink in the downtown quarter. Food is reasonable and hearty and service was great. You can also request room service back to the Grand Hotel

Would be a great atmosphere if the food was decent but it is absolutely disgusting. New chef and menu would be ideal.

I have had three meals on different occasions and they have all been great and very good value for money. The bar and dining area have real historic atmosphere about them. I can highly recommend the grand for group and business gatherings. They also offer pub lunches.
