To be honest I was reluctant about eating here. At first we were the only table and the menu while it was diverse I was afraid it was too diverse and couldn’t decide what type of restaurant it wanted to be. After hearing the specials...my father wanted to have the Prime Rib. My wife and mother “settled” on the chicken Caesar wrap with salad and I had the penne. My penne arrived at the table first and the smell was amazing, appearance was very good and couldn’t wait to dig in. This was just about the best sauce I ever ate. So well done and flavourful. My father said his prime rib was cooked to perfection. My wife and mother were blown away with their side salad, my wife even commented she wish they bottled and sold the dressing. They enjoyed the wrap just as much. Overall we were all taken back at the quality and flavour of the food here. Kudos to the staff here.More

Our party of four enjoyed lunch in this cosy family style restaurant on a cool rainy May afternoon. The location was easy to find for out-of-towners. We were greeted by our friendly hostess/server and shown to our table. Our server brewed a fresh pot of...coffee while we perused the menu. We decided on the signature club sandwich, haddock fish and chips, hamburger and fries platter and fish with salad. All orders were well presented, large and delicious. For dessert we enjoyed creme brûlée and apple blossom with ice cream. Beer and other liquor is available. The price was great for the amount and quality of food. We will definitely return.More

We stopped in for a steak dinner, the 10 once Sirloin was tender, cooked perfectly. Another gem of a restaurant, most people drive right by! Now don’t stampede the place, it’s nice and quiet! We’ll be back, the burgers are calling my name!

This restaurant has french trained chef that makes a pasta dish pop like no other! The flavors are amzing! Eddie, chef and owner, will customize your meal if you prefer chicken over shrinp etc. Most restaurants wont do that..but that tells you how fresh the...food is and how he cares about his customers. We came because of the trip advisor reviews and were not disappointed. The 5 stars are for the quality , portion , price and taste of the food. If you are expecting anything other than country cozy you might be let down. Our lunch was...amazing. Fries were double cooked and perfectly done. The way they should be done and use to be done except it takes longer. I ordered the Wainfleet double decker and it had REAL turkey and REAL ham in it, not slices of deli meat. Our server was fast, friendly and efficient. I especially likes how our table was given it's own pitcher of water instead of waiting for a refill. Overall a place that deserves regular visits and we are very delighted to live close.More

We stopped at the Wainfleet Restaurant this past weekend and were once again very pleased by the food and servers. I ordered a pasta and sausage dish that was spicy without being too hot and very flavorful. They have a decent selection of wines and...the wait staff make certain everything is to our liking and when possible the chef stop by the table to ask if everything was to our liking. If you are traveling to Port Colbourne give this hidden gem a try.More
