Visiting Nelson on holiday. Dined here and chose the "headless chicken". Food was great, well cooked, nicely presented with good range of vegetables. Have eaten here in previous years and this was the best yet.

Dined here on my own, place was busy and staff asked if I was ok to eat on the bar side which I didn't mind due to lots of male folk in the bar that night. Staff kept checking on me that I was ok...More

This is a theme pub and I therefore felt like a sell out going here. However... The service was attentive and friendly, the food was far better quality than anticipated and it turned out to be a rather enjoyable meal! Location just off the beach...More

A lively spot popular with locals and tourists. The pub has a good feel to it when busy and the staff are very friendly. Good selection of beers and food. Worth a visit.

The staff were fantastic, the beer kept flowing and the food was pretty good too.... Toilets were nice and clean Not the cheapest place but very good !More

Booked a large group of 24 people in for dinner. Smugglers had a large table that almost fit us all in. Great service and food. Would dine here again.

Visited at short notice for a lunch. They offer discounted lunches for senior citizens that were really good value for money. They were very busy, so lunch took a while to arrive, but was very tasty and enjoyable. Would thoroughly recommend for anyone. Good kids...More
