Brunch, lunch all times - but the cheese scones are the most fabulous. Add an eclectic atmosphere and tasty lunch menu thats a bit different and flavoursome - love taking friends here

This place is way over-hyped. The food is bland and overpriced for what you get, and the staff seriously need lessons on how to treat customers. Their attitude towards me was very indifferent, rushed (the place wasn't even busy) and borderline contemptuous - no smile, just a "What are you having?", processing the payment and then when I said thanks... Excellent staff. Very good coffee. Yama is always busy but never flustered. The cheese scones are legendary. Other food is well done cafe food. Atmosphere is eclectic and comfortable. Always worth a stop.

First class food - everything is produced on the premises. Last visit I had seafood chowder which came with a slice of their own focacia bread. As good as you could get anywhere and better than most. Not expensive, just down to earth efficient service and good cafe food.

This cafe is tucked away but worth visiting, right by Saturday market spot. Lovely lunch and helpful staff

Such yummy food with great choices, lovely staff, and the events, (not just bands) are wonderful. Reading the flyers on the wall also gives a taste of Nelson.

I found this place by chance: it faces on to a car-parking area, not very exciting, but on the weekend, especially Saturdays, there is a market - hence the find. There's a friendly, organic/community kind of vibe as you go in. A decent range of food on the menu, breakfast & lunch items, plus a good supply of cabinet food.... More

Service was slow and cafe wasn't busy. Hubbie did get asked if he wanted a single or double shot which was nice and the food was delicious. However the decor was different and there were birds inside too.

This place is extremely popular with locals and I am struggling to understand why. Place looks dirty, tables haven't been wiped in years..coffee watery. And served in a wrong cup. Bagel took a while to turn up and was ok. Nothing to rave about. Wont be in any rush to return.
