The Big Fig Bistro is a seasonal restaurant open for dinner Monday to Sundays during the dry season Mid April to October. Licensed venue, no BYO alcohol. The Bistro is situated under a large Fig Tree within the grounds of the Breeze Katherine Holiday Park, Northern Territory. Open from 5pm.

What a great little spot to find in the middle of the caravan park where we were staying! The setting is lovely, the staff are friendly and the food was great. You can dine there regardless of whether you’re staying at the park or not. Recommended.

Lovely people and good food. A reliable spot to have a nice meal when you’re staying at Big 4. We also asked to take some drinks and hit chips to the pool, very relaxing. Delicious hot chippies!

2nd time I've been here.
Staying at park..invited some local friends to join me for dinner.
Outdoor setting
Great menu...different options available. Reasonably priced.
Service friendly efficient.
Bar service reasonably efficient.
Atmosphere, casual yet great food and cold drinks..dry season weather star filled night sky made for a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
Located just out of town at the Katherine Big 4 caravan park.
My friends walked away lamenting the fact they had visited sooner

Meals were excellent. Loved pork chop special with Asian salad plus shanks also good. We had sweets including mango cheesecake that was lovely. Couldn’t fault any of meals and service very good.

Went for dinner here while we stayed at the caravan park. The food was yummy and the serving sizes decent. It was a great atmosphere with lights, people, music. The food was quick and the drinks cold. I’d eat here again when we next stay.

Great atmosphere on a barmy evening to enjoy eating out. Fabulous food and wine. Couldn’t fault it. All reasonable priced and the bonus for us was taking the dog!!

What fabulous food, Ricky and his team did an amazing job. It is very casual and you are sitting outside under the stars, it’s a gorgeous setting. Would throughly recommend the baked barramundi, it was so nice.

Meal was awful, setting and service was good. My roast lamb and vegetables consisted of steamed vegetables, mashed potato and some sort of meat??? The curry was good as was the fish, but the lamb roast was awful.

REALLY good food and a lovely setting under the giant fig tree. we would definitely go back if in Katherine and it was easily one of the better meals we had in the area

The Bistro is set in a lovely location in which to enjoy the popular warm evenings sitting under the fig tree and enjoying a delicious meal. Excellent variety, something for every one including several vegetarian options, and if one desires a nice dessert to follow! Can't get much better than that when we think of our friends down south hibernating due to the cold weather!! No point being old and cold, just get out and enjoy life why we can!

What a find just out of Katherine. So many good vegetarian options for my other party. And good too. Lots of specials apart from the main menu. Had the pork chops and roasted vegetables, and the pork was highlighted by rosemary. Enjoyed the outdoor seating. Sticky date pudding for dessert, the best I have had on this trip.
