This place is puzzling at best. The food is always cold, tasteless and service is very slow. Staff turnover is very high. It could be a great place under management that understands hospitality industry. It is just dismal and expensive dismal.

Myself and my lady are travelling through town and stopped by for happy hour. Our server was makenzie (I think that’s her name) she was an absolute delight! Food and alcohol was faster then any other place on the island hands down. We got x4...beers x2 wines and acouple meals and it was still under $100 including tips. Would highly recommend this place for food or drinks. Thanks makenzie for a great experience!!! The Aussie couple! 👊🏽More
4 of us went to the pub after walking the boardwalk and have to tell you the food was excellent and bountiful! Our server was Liz and the service was excellent..in fact all the staff we had an occasion to meet were very friendly. Our...opinion a 10.! we will return. We sat out on the patio and it is family friendly.More
We had 2 piece fish & chip it was the special for $20 Fries swimming in grease, fish wasn’t great , cold-slaw off colored & spoiled. My son who loves fish & couldn’t even finish eating it was so bad. We sent fries back came...back slightly better. Don’t know how they can serve people such disgusting food! Server was nice but that’s about it.More
This pub reminds me of a seed airport strip "Gentlemen's Club"! The food is overpriced and the quality is that of a strip club. I went there for a band that was playing but was disappointed with the atmosphere. To top it all off, the...service was really slow and the servers almost solicit a big tip. The one we had was terrible and she practically asked us how much we were going to leave her. Not cool! I can't see any reason for someone to visit this bar, except to see some entertainment that they are familiar with. I can't endorse this bar. It's all show and no go. There advertising techniques are slimy at best too. Their events fliers are posted everywhere ....literally. Every telephone pole and every wall. They even staple them over Chemainus billboards....which are not intended for people to post on. They are literally defacing public property. When they do post on intended public bulletin boards, they cover other relevant ads and announcements....NOT COOL!More
Servers good, food improved, variety of weekend entertainment, but management lacked tact and diplomacy when under stress for a minor incident, making for an unpleasant experience.
We were in the ferry queue. There was no option. We were pleasantly surprised. Server pleasant. We had shrimp and avocado on pretzel buns with fries. We both found the pretzel bun an odd choice for the flavour combination but it hit the spot and...the fries were good, not overdone, not greasy.More
I ordered a bouillbaise to go and a fries and gravy. Gravy is lumpy and bouiilbaise at 23 is a joke..3 shrimp...and not even a proper container..don't offer as take out if you can't put in a container that doesn't leak!!!..I called to complain and...never heard back. Terrible..won't eat there again.More
Friendly staff, welcome atmosphere, excellent food. Entertainment on Friday, Saturday nights, jazz Sunday afternoons. Adventurous folk can avail themselves of the dance floor. One block from Salt Spring Island ferry.
My husband and I stopped in here for drinks after a day spent touring the area. This place sits close to the water with a marina and the Ferry to Salt Spring Island within site of the Pub itself. Our waitress was friendly and quick with...our drinks. It was quiet as it was mid afternoon, but on weekends this Pub is host to live bands and we will definitely be back with friends on a Friday or Saturday night in the future.More
