It's close to the nomads and base camping/hostel and for most people a place to start drinking and go on to the city. Never tried the food, etc. drinks were standard, dance contest was won by staff, which was disappointing. It's ok. An average Australian bar.

I had food a couple of nights here and it was good especially with the meal/drink deal. I stayed in Base hostel next door so it was ideally located for food at night.

Meals are very reasonably priced. Salmon cooked perfectly and my husband's chicken parmy looked good too. Only let down....salmon literally came with nothing but some sweet potato fries and a pineapple salsa which was simply pineapple and diced red onion....a small salad or something would have made it perfect. Staff extremely polite. Fun atmosphere

The food is fine, it wasn't so good when a patron thrust his genitals in my face and the bouncers didn't care.

We decided to pop in here for dinner following a snorkel trip and we're very glad we did! We got in around 6:45 and the place was practically empty so we ordered our food at the bar and found a seat outside. We ordered two main meals with a beer and a vodka drink for $30. The food came over... More

Great feed on the new menu. Always in for sneeky knockoffs that turn into something better. Always smiley bar staff and friendly vibes.

A good pub atmosphere with loud music and videos. Enjoyed dinner with friends and although not an a la carte offering, the food is certainly adequate, filling and tasty. A $15 meal includes a soft drink or beer! The vegetable lasagne was great tucker and comes with a fresh salad. Steaks also served with chips and salad are good pub... More

We both had and entree and a drink for $15 each. That's cheap for the area. The food was just "okay". Nothing special except the price. When we entered the bar it was fairly empty at around 6pm. No one greeted us or told us where to sit. The staff was all huddled around the bar joking around with each... More

We expected a 'basic backpack restaurant',...meaning good (not fancy) for an affordable price. Instead we had 13 dollar burgers that were awful for which we had to wait almost an hour,....while the place was empty. Imagine wat it will be on a crowded evening....

Thank Hans C
