We have walked past this place a number of times and a bunch of us tried it last night. If you are a fan of 'all you can eat' - go for it. Otherwise this is cheap carbs, staggering its way in a random, circular fashion. Eventually we got tired of the stodge and called it a day. There are... More

Farinha offers fixed price dining. Some of the tables a re long and will accommodate more than one dining party. The food is based around pizza and pasta - it just keeps coming until you say stop. Everything is friendly and fun. There is a large screen TV playing on one of the downstairs walls which detracts from the atmosphere.... More

You will probably hate the queues but I guess the queues tell the story. You have to start with a bit of a low expectation in Coogee and general area in terms of quality of food or service but I doubt you will never be disappointed here and if you need to eat that much food for the all you... My husband and I went for dinner on a Wednesday night. It was all you can eat for $28. The food was delicious, the service was great and we were so full when we left. There was so much variety with the food. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I arrived in Coogee, and wanting somewhere to eat having arrived later than planned was going to prove a challenge. My husband spotted Farinha, a lovely little Italian/Brazilian restaurant. We had to wait 15 minutes to be seated, but then the food just flowed, a mix of salads, pastas, pizzas and other dishes for us to try.... More

When I first went to Farinha, it was a 5 star experience, however I think the price has gone down and so has the quality. While still delicious and filling it misses the meatier dishes, to focus on more straight pasta and pizza. Just one slow cooked meat would make it fantastic as it gets a little carb heavy. Still... This venue has wonderful decor, very friendly staff, and the food is fresh and hearty. Very reasonably priced for an "all you can eat". I recommend this place highly if you're looking for a relaxed and satisfying meal.

Really enjoyed the Farinha philosophy of dining. Not having to choose from a menu was great - and just having new dishes placed in front of you to either say yes or no to was fun. Food was delicious.

Staying in Coogee

Neighbourhood Profile
Very accessible by public transport, Coogee is the smaller, friendlier, more intimate version of Bondi Beach. Coogee is the only beach in the Eastern suburbs that does not have big waves, making it an excellent family beach. The Coogee Bay Hotel, located right across the beach, has one of the biggest beer gardens in Australia and plenty of entertainment every night of the week. Be on the lookout for celebrity footballers! A little further south is Wylie’s Baths, offering sweeping 180 degree views over the Pacific Ocean, and it is perfect for a swim or a few laps. Plenty of dining choices surround the beach, including the famous fish and chips.
