Our last visit to this restaurant did not start well as our booked table had been given away just before we arrived. We were given a second row table which still allowed our guests to enjoy the stunning view of the Megalong Valley. (To make up for this mistake, we were offered a complimentary glass of bubbly!) The menu is... More

After three hours walking under pouring rain, this was an emergency stop towards lunchtime. We were not very presentable and completely wet, but the French speaking owner provided such a genuine warm welcome and provided towels to get drier. At some places we would have been thrown out in this state. What followed is history: Well priced half bottle of... More

After being seated by our friendly host/waiter, we waited a little longer than we should have for anyone to approach the table. While staff passed by us, there was no interaction. Friendly waiter returned, a little surprised we had not even been offered a menu by that stage, and served us well for the rest of the evening. My partner... More

Lovely evening atmosphere with singer and acoustic guitar playing swing tunes. Food was decent - duck was nicely done, best to have with a side dish. Partner had the bouillabaisse which was nice, but not quite worth the price tag. Service was attentive but disorganised, we had several waiters throughout the night. Wine menu was good. Overall a nice experience,... More

Our final night over Easter. Expecting quality, that's exactly what we got, from the Paté du porc through to the Crêpes Suzette we had a small slice of French heaven on a plate. The decor is old world, and the location is easy. We were very very happy. We tried to get our wiatress Louise a trip to try out... More

We came here several years ago for a weekend away - and I think the management/ownership has changed, which might be the difference in the service we received. Everyone was very friendly, but no one was on the ball - our entree of escargots took over 30 minutes to arrive - and we were offered drinks once throughout the entire... More

Some of the tables have a view and it is advisable to book ahead. Food was of the highest quality and reminiscent of our experiences in French cities outside Paris. High quality food, not tourist fare, and good service. The staff were helpful and attentive but not over familiar. Highly recommend trying to catch a sunset from this location.

Let me start by saying the food was great. We had entree and main course and enjoyed it totally. Well done to the back of house staff. The problem was that we felt like an inconvenience to the front of house staff. We arrived to and entered the bar area. The staff member who was behind the bar looked at... More

So rare to find chefs still preparing quality meals, using fresh ingredients & allowing the individual flavours to 'make' the dish. Refreshingly different to the almost mandatory 'US styled 'Sydney stack' swimming is oil & salt, which is cloned just about everywhere you go, anywhere within cooee of Sydney.

We were on the terrace with glorious views at sunset over the jamison valley. there was a violinist playing (very romantic) and Greg owner Maitre De was perfect. service was quick unobtrusive and we didn't feel over serviced. Food was out of this world, BEST restaurant my wife and I have visited in a while. Duck wcooked 2 ways was... More
