Have had breakfast and lunch at the Red Door Cafe and have not been disappointed. Their french toast with maple syrup and fresh strawberries for breakfast was scrumptious. I added the side of bacon which went perfectly with the french toast. Coffee was just the...More

Been here a few times now. Menu is good, lots of options. Its always busy so be prepared to wait for a table. I recently had the "Trout and corn fritters" which were really good. Service was good also especially since it was super busy....More

We enjoyed a great and relaxing lunch in a friendly environment. Great coffee. I enjoyed the corn fritters with smoked trout and poached eggs. The green salad bed was flavoursome too. The specials board is a delight of choices for all tastes and left me...More

Highly recommend the haloumi salad - which was on the specials board. I hope it's there for you! The iced coffee was proper coffee, and a refreshing touch. The cafe itself is relaxed, not pretentious, and not feeling over-touristed.

The place was certainly well patronised when we visited. The standard menu at the front doesn't do it justice as the specials board had the best options from which we also picked the minestrone. The service was also great and friendly.

Had the Chicken and Leek pie with salad and mash for lunch. And fresh orange juice. YUMM! No need for dinner :)

This place was the busiest cafe in the whole street, once a table got up to leave it wasn't empty long at all. Despite this the staff were super attentive and meals/coffee came out quite quickly. Food prices were very reasonable and very generous, I...More

This was my sentiment too - a chaotic place, not relaxing at all - cosy in winter, yes! For a local, the prices are a bit on the high side and again as a local, we do not feel recognised or that it actually means anything to anyone there - a shame. Unfortunately this seems to be the norm in most of the Blue Mountains Villages.

I'm not a regular at Red Door so I can't speak for them. But I can't agree this is the norm at least as far as Blackheath is concerned. I am a regular at Anonymous and get really good things from this. I'm not so regular... More
