We stopped here while travelling through the area and I'm glad we did. Nice staff, quick service and great food. Highly recommend!

I always visit this terrific cafe when in Leura. The staff are warm and friendly, food is always wholesome, delicious and generous. Pricing is extremely reasonable and the ambience is bustling and happy. I'm a local who always feels valued and nurtured at this cafe....I'm really surprised by some of the negativity about this gem, this has never been my experience at Lilys Pad.More

As locals we have always enjoyed dining at Lilys Pad and have taken friends and family members along with us over the years. It is a very popular cafe. The staff are friendly and efficient even during peak busy times. The menu has a good...variety of meals and drinks. The homemade lemonade is a favorite! The one and only toilet that is up a steep set of 3 steps with no hand rail needs more regular attention, it was just yuk on our last visit - very overdue for a thorough clean and tidy up. It would be a more enjoyable dining experience to sit on more sturdy seats rather than flimsy slat style chairs. Also, to have some of the side blinds up to release some of the conversation noise during busy times. Hopefully these issues can be addressed so we will still enjoy dining here as it is a quaint little place that produces lovely meals and has friendly staff.More

We’re not impressed with 1st walk in as had dirty appearance. Only one bathroom for a restaurant of 50 seats. But food made up for it! Very good.

Breakfast was ok....have had better . Had eggs/bacon and tomato. Bacon was over cooked ...and I like my bacon crispy . Tomato’s was really dry. Coffee was good . Chairs really uncomfortable.

The coffee is great and staff are really warm and welcoming. The place is dog friendly and perfect for brunch or lunch. We regularly go for breakfast, last time we had a group of 8 of us and everyone was happy with their food. Beware,...go hungry because the portions and big, and you will definitely want to save space for a scone and jam afterwards!More

Cafe is definitely one of the most hidden gems in Leura. It's a bit hidden away from the main strip but has a fantastic outdoor covered patio area which is nicely spaced apart for good social distancing measures. The food was fantastic and highly recommend...the pulled lamb focaccia. It was pet friendly with the staff extremely friendly and attentive to our small pet's needs by providing him with water (before us which was fantastic!). Overall really good spot and highly recommend.More

The food was fine but unfortunately we were seated near the blender so it wasn't very peaceful. we had the smashed avocado which was pretty good; and poached eggs with bacon. the pies and cakes in the display cabinet looked good but i didn't taste...them. Not sure if it is what they use to wipe the tables down but the table was a bit sticky and drinking glasses didn't seem so clean.More

Very relaxed outdoor undercover setting, serves the best smashed avocado on homemade rye bread, salads soups and pies are a huge hit as well! Service and coffee is exceptional.. Love Lilypad Leura
