Went here for dinner after a day exploring the blue mountains. The food was delicious and the portions were large for a reasonable price.

We dined here as a family and loved our experience. The staff were attentive, efficient and attentive and our meals were delicious. Our vegetarian spring rolls were fresh and amazing. The chicken was cooked perfectly and we loved the whole vibe of the environment. A special shout out to the chef and wait staff who clearly work hard to give... More
We went to the Hotel Alexandria for my hubbys birthday dinner. We couldn't fault the food at all. The grain fed fillet steak was cooked to perfection, chicken schnitzel thick, juicy and very tasty, flathead fillets were amazing. Even the salad was good. The meals were so large that we couldn't even fit in dessert which was sad because the... More
We have dined here on several occasions. This time four of us enjoyed a very good meal. While this is a pub bistro, it really is at the upper end in terms of choice and quality. The salt and pepper squid is one of the best, the fish was beautifully done and well presented. The daily Pot Pies, on this... More
Nice atmosphere. Wonderful food. Pub grub but so much more. Fresh and so delicious. Very generous portions. The staff were so amazing, even leant us some of her own child's toys when our little girl got super fussy. We will definitely come here more often
The Alex is a beautiful way to spend a lunch time escaping a cool wet mountains day It's old world charm of open fires comfy arm chairs family playing board games.... just wonderful We enjoyed the bruschetta immensely, not just your bits of bread with some tomato plonked on top... a culinary delight... a full meal which was so very... On recent trip to the Blue Mountains with 4 other couples we returned for a second time for dinner following a very enjoyable evening and delicious meal served on our first visit. The well restored dining room is spacious, not too formal and when well attended with larger groups it gets quite noisy. All the food our party ordered was... More
The front of the Alexandra Hotel appears similar to many other similar establishments. The dining area, located at the back of the property, is nicely styled with high back chairs and neatly laundered white tablecloths. On reading, the menu appeared to offer the same options as you would expect in a pub. The time from ordering to the waitstaff placing... More
A great pub with great pub meals. A little hard to find as you have to approach from right direction. Good selection of beer and wines, and the menu has no great surprises but the meals are big for hearty stomachs. I had the calamari my friend had salmon. Both excellent.
