After a bad dining experience elsewhere we came here for dessert and coffee. Staff were lovely, very accomodating and professional. Can only comment on desserts but the Creme brûlée and panna cota were very pleasant. Decor plain. Spacious. Would certainly return to try a full dinner.

My friend and I stopped in for convenience, we hadn't heard of the place. What a pleasant surprise! The staff were so friendly, gave great advice. We came on a 38 degree heat day - they had plenty of water and shade available. And lunch, OMG I had the gnocchi with mushroom and my friend the angel hair pasta with... More

Having not read any reviews before we ate here I was somewhat confused by the string of poor reviews this restaurant has had. Our experience was satisfying and we enjoyed being able to eat outside in such a relaxed environment. Our initial welcome was professional but not overly welcoming. However the young man that served us was polite , engaging... More

My family has enjoyed many meals at this restaurant over the years but last night's meal was not a patch on previous meals except the kids meals were ok. Its lost its charm in that although the courtyard is great for alfresco dining the inside is cold with no ambience. May be management should bring back tablecloths which may help.... More

After hiking 5 hours through the mountains the menu at Bon Ton looked very appetising, however it did not deliver. We were greeted by a disinterested host who seated multiple tables at once, no personalised service, not even standard service, no smile. We ordered the olives which stated on the menu, mixed olives with feta and oregano. Instead we got... More

I was interested to see that this place had received a number of bad reviews over Christmas and New Year. One of our party had been here before and recommended it. We ate dinner on a Saturday night. The staff were efficient and professionally pleasant. The menu was not over elaborate but boasted the cafe's speciality Escargots which many other... More

we went there for dinner, were very excited but it quickly turned to very disappointed !! The most expensive entree they have ($24) are raw vegetable without any sauce and 3 miserable slices of salmon, the main was a sirloin (the meat by itself was very good) served with frozen fries, burnt mushrooms and i don't know why but a... We visited for lunch on a warm day. The shade and ambience of the courtyard were just what we needed. The menu was eclectic, plenty of choices there for anyone! Food lived up to the promise. Great wine list. Service was excellent once we "made contact" with our waitress. I am puzzled by the variable feedback! Based on our experience... More

For the piece we paid for meals I would have expected a lot more! One piece of seafood in a $39.50 seafood pasta dish is just not acceptable! I wouldn't go back here

while calling itself a cafe the food we ordered was presented as a five star restaurant with five star prices. Quality was ok but nothing special. Service was great
