This is our go to place for fish and chips in Apollo Bay, and is always excellent. A nice place to eat in, but takeaway is good too and service is quite quick even at peak times.

Yep Poor! Full disclosure I use to run a successful Fish & Chip shop,so maybe I am more critical? It was a busy Sunday afternoon and Apollo Bay was absolutely packed. We settled on the Seafood Cafe as it wasn't too busy and we wanted fish & chips. I ordered two flakes and minimum chips and was told $20.......OK more... More

What a great surprise. Called in here because all the restaurants in town were full on Easter Sunday. Got to say all our party of five were dead chuffed with what they had. Quality ingredients and great batter, so light and crispy. Gummy shark was fab, as was the calamari. The mussel special was amazing! Couldn't believe how many orders... More

Lots of fish & chips stalls along this stretch but we went to this because of the higher ratings. Fresh fish available on display for you to take a look before buying. We had the butter fish, grenadier, 10 prawns and 4 scallops and chips for about $40. Staff were friendly as well.

Delicious seafood platter for 4 adults, Fresh fish , squid , mussels, prawns and generous chips. The Chris and wife must be doing a great job as the café was full, when some of the others weren't.

We ate here for Good Friday, came in late from our road trip but they were still happy to serve us even though they finished taking orders a few minutes ago. We shared chips for 2 (could have shared with 4 people) and we had potato cakes and the corn jack and dim sims, we ate dinner on a picnic... More

Went on a tour on the Great Ocean Road and we stopped at Apollo Bay for lunch. Decided on this cafe and ordered the seafood platter for 2. The fish was nice, the scallops not too bad but we didn't enjoy the prawn & squid as much. The place is popular with a constant stream of people, some taking out... More

we like sea food and this small restaurant/ cafe was very good. I recommend to other people and all share the same view. Frish sea food, good plate (espacially the calamary). The local is a small cafe with no ambience but clean and frienly people.

We were looking at the menu outside and we're given a thumbs up from a man seated inside having the fresh seafood platter for 2 - after going in and having a quick word with him we ordered the same. It was definitely worth it - the food arrived quickly and did not disappoint. Highly recommended!!😋😋
