The $14 pizza/pasta deal on Tuesday is definitely good value and they were very busy the night we were there. In fact, it was booked out so we sat outside on the tables since it was a nice day. The pastas here are probably better than the pizzas as the pizzas can be a bit doughey.

Clearly Cowes bay needs to open up more eateries to cater for the busy bus tours, or this restaurant needs more staff. Walked out of here as couldn't get served a takeaway.

We ordered about 5pm on a sunday. It was not busy. Ordered a chicken parma and a schnitzel from the express menu. What a joke waiting and waiting 1 hour and 15 mins should have been 15 min. Because money is more important than patrons. A bus load of 20 asians booked the back room, so our orders were pushed aside.... More

Dear X2071GYandrewc, Thank you for leaving what we find to be a 'shamfully (sic)' and somewhat racist review! 'A busload of 20 Asians'? ... or perhaps 20 customers, just like you? -- See, we don't feel it necessary to identify people by what nationality they are. These 20 customers called ahead over 4 weeks prior to pre-book and organise their... More

Poor service, overpriced average food and double standards I have never heard of. I was visiting with my family and overseas visitors. Unlike other restaurants The Fat Seagull was empty. I know this should’ve been a clue but we were tired of walking and the restaurant is in good location. How bad can it be, right??? Six ppl eating with... More

On arrival, they gave us a table eventually, after a bit of toing and froing. Some one had table booked for two hours after we arrived, ample time to eat and be gone. Meals were only pasta or pizza as it was a Tuesday. Meals were ok, more of a snack than a main course, no bread or anything came... More

Service was ok. Not really friendly but waitress warmed to us..... Pasta dishes ok. Serve was a decent size. Cheap on Tuesdays if you want a meal out instead of cooking at home.

The poor experience started when we walked through the door for a table of 8. On arrival it took quite some time for the 5 staff at the front of the restaurant to acknowledge our presence before pointing us to our table. No staff guided us to our table or offered any welcoming dialogue. Then once seated it took over... More

From a takeaway coffee in the morning to a qualiity takeaway pasta meal or similar, this is one of the best in Cowes. Servings are big - as are eat in meals - and service is good. You pay a bit extra for being in a resort area but not over the top. Popular with the tourist buses but they... More

In Cowes during silly season so to ensure we got fed stoppped in here for an early dinner. Staff were welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed an entree followed by spaghetti marinara which was full of seafood. Very nice. This little restaurant is licensed and I cant recommend it highly enough.
