Gourmet fish and chips plus more, this is not your avergae fish and chippy folks. It's full on class fish and chips with a bulk load of varieties on cooked salmon. There's other types of fish but thats only at night. We had the beer battered salmon (crispy and golden but not oily) and mushy peas with chips, plus a... More

I took my elderly parents there and access was easy with walkers. The selection was ample. I think I made the wrong choice of salmon and chips, battered. The batter was massive and raw inside. The salmon was nicely cooked and I removed the salmon from the batter. All food was under seasoned and required lots of salt, especially the mushy peas.... More

The salmon shop not only sells a variety of fresh salmon products but also has a caf'e for light meals including brekkie. The salmon on English muffin with scrambled egg was nice

I went there last week because of the Salmon. Lots of choice in the menu but the cooking was only pass. It's not like made by a professional cook. I took a Flat White too, there are lots of cafe selling coffee better than Tassal.

After being summoned to catch up with my parents, I was told that there was this place that specialised in Salmon. I was rather apprehensive at first because as soon as one of my parents said, "yes its a kind of fish and chip place and that it had great coffees". The first thing that popped into my mind was... I'm happy to have discovered this specialty shop and café. It's a gem for anyone who enjoys eating and serving Tasmanian salmon. Much more is on offer than you will find in your usual supermarket, so it's worth travelling to stock up on supplies. Specials and pensioner discounts are added incentives. Of course you can buy salmon in a range... More

Lovely dinner. Unfortunately only open for dinner on Fridays. Choices aren't limited to salmon. There are burgers and other fish. Eggplant chips and salads. I wish they would open on other nights. Lunch and breakfast also good

My husband and I had a great dinner here on Valentine's Day. 3 courses with sparkling wine. The salmon was amazing and wait staff were very attentive.

Staff in the shop are polite and helpful and pensioners get a 10% discount any day of the week and on certain days it can be 15% - check the website! The frozen types of salmon are particularly handy for cream and wine pasta dishes. A very versatile basis for a meal.
