Of our four day stay in Ireland, this was by far the most outstanding meal. The service is second to none, the comfort they afforded because of my shellfish allergy was 100%. Cleanliness spotless toilets. Notice on menu with allergen information means they understand and you are treated like anyone else but a little different. It was very busy and... More

If you are looking for an authentic Irish restaurant in a beautiful little town this is the place to go. The oysters are supposedly great, however we missed the start of their oyster season by one week! They do have pacific oysters during off season if you are interested. When we were there they did have local mussels which were... More

We had a fabulous fishy lunch on a cold Sunday afternoon in November. Native oysters, steamed mussels, fish and chips, smoked salmon and prawns all of an extremely high standard. I heartily recommend a visit to Moran's where a warm welcome and delicious fish are guaranteed.

This place was recommended to us before we departed for our trip and there is definitely a reason why. The restaurant is inviting and warm, with a good selection of Irish beers and whiskeys. The highlight though was the availability of Galway Bay oysters, which are only available during the winter months. If you love oysters, make sure to stop... More

I have been wanting to try Morans for several years Just haven't been able to time it right. While staying in Ennis recently we decided to make a special trip. After a beautiful drive around the coast road we found our way to Morans Great setting and truly perfect ambiance. It just looks like the perfect Irish proper establishments. The... More

Wow we recently lunched in Moran's Oyster Cottage and can only say I cannot wait to return. The service, food and ambiance were all first class. The prices are a little steep but once you taste the food you understand why they are as they are. The crab claws are to die for as are the mussels. Highly recommend eating... More

Freshness and top-class quality seafood are the core that keepห this place busy day in and day out. Services are lovely. The best place to spend your money on a good seafood meal.

What a great mixture of beautiful surroundings, helpful staff and the best oysters in the world. Their native oysters are something to remember, but i was very impressed by the clams and mussels as well, both steamed and grilled. What makes the experience really special is the attitude of the staff. They are welcoming and friendly but not in a... More

This restaurant was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. A bit of a long treck to find but well worth the effort. Charming venue with young and attentative staff. The real star is the seafood which was exceptional. We had native oysters, mussels, chowder and herb crusted cod. All excellent with the chowder being exceptional. A modest... More

Stopped in for a late lunch. Staff very informative about the oysters. My husband LOVES oysters and had half a dozen of one type and half a dozen of the native - which had just one awards at the Oyster Festival in Galway the night before. I don't like oysters but had a delicious seafood cocktail. It was all very... More
