This charming restaurant with wonderful fresh food is excellent. The owners, a Portugese and German couple are kind and make you feel like so welcome. The salads, meat, olives, cheeses, potatoes and bread were the best we tried in our week in algrave area. We became repeat customers and brought our traveling friends.

We dined here for the first time last night having moved to Portugal last September. We had walked by several times and thought it looked an interesting dining option. Whilst fairly quiet, but it is midweek and the beginning of March, it was warm, cosy and welcoming, with a friendly welcome, other guests quite clearly were returning customers. Normally a... More

The food in this very unassuming restaurant was absolutely delicious. The Hungarian Goulash with Spätzle, the Pork with Clams, the salads - all great. But the desserts even manage to outshine these, with one of the richest, gooiest, tastiest chocolate cakes (more like a take on a brownie) I've tasted anywhere. The flambé pineapple with rum was to die for... More

Been to this restaurant twice now and has always had the same friendly staff and the same great food. The crispy chicken plate is my personal favourite, followed by the hot chocolate cake! The service is excellent also. Another great thing about this restaurant is the outside seating area! A great place to sit during the evening and relax! Will... More

Food was good. I had Shepherds pie very tasty. Husband had fishcakes also good. Lacked a bit of atmosphere as very quiet that night. Good place for a good value evening meal.

Went here on a Friday night when everyone seemed to be in for the very English Fish and Chips. We went for the regular menu and really enjoyed some excelled Portuguese food. Attentive friendly staff and all for a great price.

Completely off the cuff we visited Kaya's off the back of some positive comments. We were not disappointed the food appeared as it was stated home cooked. We loved it. The courtyard was very authentic. Just one thing let them down was the service. It took quite a while for the food to arrive when it was not very busy... More
