I am very sorry to give a statement like this but it has to be. We found this restaurant by walking up the hill out of Cuenca. On the terrace there were a lot of people so we decide to try this one. As there was no place outside we were asked to sit on the first floor. When we... More

Situated right at the top of the old town, we were so pleased to have found this excellent family restaurant. Being English was not a problem, we ordered four dishes that were all extremely good. Wine and service were of the same standard and a bill of 42 Euro for two healthy (and satisfied) eaters was a very reasonable.

Ate a lovely meal with the family. Very friendly, helpful staff and scrummy Spanish food. Lots of tasty tapas dishes and even some entertainment.

We had the mixed starter, which had a mixed reception from us and was overpriced at 17 euros. The mains were large but not very appealing and the wine was dear.

Located at the top of the hill in Cuenca, above the castle. We shared the local cod dish and a game pate between us. Just as well we didn't have one each as the portions are generous. Both flavourful and very reasonably priced. Good service. Recommended

My dad and I were aimlessly exploring Cuenca before he left, and since then we'd just been around for less than a week, we weren't too familiar with Cuenca cuisine. We picked this restaurant randomly since we were hungry, and we asked the waiter what he recommended. I forget what the plate's name was, but it was a plate of... More

We had only just arrived in Cuenca and having found our accommodation decided to drive into the old town and see what was there. We ended up driving right up to the castle where we found some free parking spaces overlooking the gorge. As we got out of the car we saw this restaurant/bar across the road and decided to... More

Close to the castle and to my hotel. Plenty of locals. Had a filling €20 meal, including drink and tip. Not far away from a great view across the road. Very enjoyable.

This restaurant was situated on the promenade at the high point of Cuenca Town, near the terminus for the Tourist 'train', and spectacular views of the gorge, so we stumbled upon it by accident. It felt more local than the restaurants in the Plaza Major, and despite language limitations, we were able to communicate (a bit like a scene from... More

Calidad-precio ridículo, la parrilla de verduras -según mercado- 15€!! Error por no preguntar, pero....Very expensive for what is worth, don't ask for anything without the price in the menu!
