Great view of Auckland & the islands from this winery. We did the premium tasting which was very good if you like reds.

Very friendly staff, beautiful surroundings and delicious food. There is a fine dining restaurant or a more relaxed pavilion which we dined in as a table of 16. The aged feta was delicious, bouillabaisse also and the steak melted in our mouths. The desserts are decadent also. They do wine tasting here and you should try their wine soap, it... More

We first visited Mudbrick in 2003 and had one of our best eating experiences. Since then whenever friends or acquaintances are visiting Auckland we recommended they visit Waiheke and make a point of eating at Mudbrick. Today we ate in their new (opened in August) garden bistro and we were thrilled. Bouillabaisse for her, gnocchi for me and both delicious.... More

Four of us were on the hop-on-off bus that takes you around the island. I was not pleased to have to pay $10 for a tasting of only five wines so two of us shared one glass, but we considered the wines pretty good. The views from tbe hilltop setting over the sea to Auckland in the distance were stunning... More

We ate here in December as a couple and again in April with friends. It is very nice to get there when it is still light out as the view is absolutely gorgeous. We all enjoyed our meal and the wait staff with friendly. It is a bit pricey, but worth it overall. The setting in the rest is rustic... More

We ordered the steak and the market fish with a side order and it was just beautifuly cooked, delicious! The location was stunning and overlooked a lovely beach and you can see Auckland in the distance. The wine tasting was great and the waitresses professional and polite. Overall one of my favourite vineyards on the island!

Truly excellent eating experience. Very efficient and friendly service, great menu and great wines. Also did the wine tasting on another day. Also very good. nice your French Sommelier. Views are great. If you can get a table outside all the better. not cheap but fair value.

Enjoyed a very nice dinner at Mudbrick. Food was excellent, service was friendly and great. A little on the expensive side though, but well worth going!

This was our first stop in Waiheke and probably our best. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The setting was idyllic and the wine was good. I think the Syrahs are probably the best reds from Waiheke and most of the whites are brought up from Marlborough, but you can taste many varieties here all the same. We were thinking... More
