Went on the same day as other reviewer "westayeverywhere",they was sat on the table behind us, service very slow, food ok nothing great to shout about, i'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they was not prepared for us or something had gone wrong in the kitchen, simply because the time factor was annoyingly slow..........still nice little pub... My wife and I visited this place a month or so ago having a table for two. Everything was perfect on that occasion so we thought we would take for family back for a chill out just before Christmas oh how things change. Not having visited before, we used a Groupon voucher to try out the food on offer, especially the Gluten and Dairy free options. Quaint little hostelry with lots of history, but modern tables and comfortable chairs in the dining room. Sue saw us to our reserved table and brought our drinks. The voucher intimidated a starter and main course so... More
