We went twice. Owner was friendly and helpful even though we spoke no Spanish. Food was so cheap and so good. It's not fancy or relaxing but it's Spanish and the value can't be beat. The shrimp, chorizo, migas, garlic bread and salmon were our favorites but everything was great. Def need to stop by. Busy at night, semi-busy at... More

Great variety of tapas which were delicious and cheap (.80€). The place was crowded with locals and visitors both times we went but it was worth it. We liked everything we tried!

If you like tapas, you must come to El Lechuguita. Great location close to the famous New Bridge. You get a piece of paper with all of the tapas listed as well as an English friendly menu, which is helpful. Packed with locals so go at an off time. Before 1pm seemed to work. Closed on Sundays.

Best value of our trip. The food was inexpensive and delicious. We had intended to get tapas before dinner but ended up making a whole meal of it. 5 people had drinks and food for under 30 Euros. Service was excellent.

Get a pad of the menu options, use a pen to mark which ones you want (maybe 5 or 6 per person at €0.80 per item) tear off the copy and hand to the barman. Great food, local atmosphere good prices what is there not to like? Highly recommended

I have no idea why this place is ranked so highly on Tripadvisor, we thought the food was terrible. We ordered six tapas and three were inedible, two were simply bad, and one was OK. Sure the tapas are only 80 cents per serving, but if you are only getting 20c worth of quality product and taste (value), it is... More

They might not be too picky about the time they open (but be prepared, as the place gets packed within 15 minutes after the opening) and the whole place has very rustic feeling but it's a lot of fun. Cheap (most 80 cents per portion) tapas, basic beverages and loud local crowd that makes you trip worth while.

So many plates at 80c seemed hard to believe, the potatoes in aioli were amazing. We had a couple of the 2.50 euro plates which showed the extra quality but really you can have a good meal from the others. Perhaps choose 6 small ones or person? Depends how hungry you are!

Some of the nicest tapas we have had on this holiday. And the best price as well. Well worth a visit.
