We sat down here to rest our legs and grab a snack. We should have looked at TripAdvisor first as the 2.5 star review is generous. Beer was over priced and tapas were very generic and average. Fried things were oily, cured meats were dry. Avoid this restaurant there are so many better ones nearby!

Went there this afternoon. We only wanted a light meal so we ordered three tapas. The younger waiter hassled us to order bread (only time we've paid for it in almost three weeks in Spain and then we didn't eat it), and then we ordered another tapas. My wife had a glass of white wine which was good but 3... More

We just wanted a small snack. The cheese tapa must have been cut with a very thin potato peeler as it was 1mm thick if that. There were 4 tiny pieces of cheese on the plate. The tiniest coffee and juice. The waitress did not smile at all. The prices shown in the menu did not include tax which they... More

There are a lot of restaurants in this street. All are on the "catch the tourist" trip. All have menus with pictures instead of text... tourists must be very silly from their point of view. La Posada has a separate Tapas menu. And their Tapas are not that bad! The stuff is friendly, the prices are moderate and they offen... More

Great location, friendly staff. Ask for aceitunas fritas, the feel fried olives. Excellent with beer or wine.

We ordered bocadillos and these were the worst we've ever had. My tuna bocadillo was literally chunks of unseasoned tuna, straight out of a can, on cold hard bread. The cheese version was just pieces of cheese and cold bread. At 4.50 per sandwich you'll get better food at McDonalds.

I wish I had read the reviews before I sat down at this restaurant. First the service was slow and unfriendly and secondly the food was not fit to be put on any table. I ordered the Pork Loins and it was oily, cold, full of sinew with no taste. The rest of my group had similar experiences with there... More

Worst service ever! I'm a floor manager and a waitress as well so I well know how a restaurant and its service must be. I stopped there with a friend cause they have thousands of tapas and it seemed excellent cause we weren't starving but however deeply willing to get to taste spanish tapas! Anyway, the waiter in duty was... More

So sorry we didn't check before sitting down as other reviews have conveyed the horror already. We both decided on the La Posada salad, which sounded interesting with grapes, quince and walnuts as well as peaches, lettuce etc. - The day before, in Competa (La Hierbalbena) we had had a wonderful lunch with tostas of pate and of chicken, peaches... I went there rather early for dinner as I was hungry. It was basically empty so the food was quick. Service was average, about what one can expect in Spain. The food wasn't particularly special though the paella was ok. It was very good location though being just off the main square in Ronda. I was able to catch a... More
