Great service and an awesome location. Sat outside overlooking the river and was plenty warm enough as we sat beside a gas heater. The Vegetarian Bohemian meal was awesome and included lots of foods that I had never tried before. However I also ordered a garlic soup that was extremely bland and lacked any flavour, from the garlic, the broth... More

If you're coming down from the castle, cross the bridge. Go to the first intersection, and turn left. You will barely see it, but it's just a few more steps down on the left. Its an ancient building, but, weather permitting, you'll be seated out on the river. The food is lovely, the ambience arguably better. You'll save some korunas,... More

A friendly place with good quality local food for a great price. The view from the terrace is also nice.

This place is simply AMAZING - food had high quality for cheap price, good local beer and the view from the terrace is almost breathtaking. Moreover, stuff is super kind and friendly. Do not miss this place if you go to CK.

We went here because of the many positive reviews, but were disappointed. We each had a Bohemian Feast, which was a lot of food, but not especially good. Mine came with one chicken thigh, which was nicely spiced and pretty good. The "smoked meat" was a slice of ham that was a little spongy, and not that appealing. The "salad"... More

I ordered Bohemian feast ((chicken, smoked meat, millet, potato dumplings, potato cake, potato and some vegetables) and it's filling and tasty. The waitress was a bit snub at first but in the end she gave all smiles to me and even discounted 5 CZK on my bill (probably she has no change). Background song adds to a good eating experience.... Spent the day in the charming medieval village of Česky Krumlov on the recommendation of friends. While there we stopped for lunch at this little waterside cafe which had been also been recommended. They have a rustic outside area by the river with tables mostly covered & with heaters and/or blankets to keep the chill off. There are also tables... More

Originally we have just been willing to seat at the river bank of Vltava and have bier after long walking around the city. Then we found the menu and very interesting brochure describing culinary history of the local area since medieval era. Ordering medieval course we have experienced some of those meals. They had nothing to do with haute cuisine,... More

Journey back to the Middle Ages and savor the Old Bohemian Feast shared by a family of 3 adults. We all had our fill. Very interesting experience. We drank wine from an old ceramic cup and ate over an old oak table. Servers dressed in traditional costumes. Owners truly know how to serve traditional Bohemian food. Must-try. No regrets!

Good food at very reasonable prices. The right place to try Czech cuisine. We had grilled carp with potatoes and cabbage, and it great value for money. Service was friendly and fast, and the guy who was serving us spoke very good English.
