I'll keep it short. Staff is very rude, especially when they are bothered by guests. They don't greet guests, they just glare at anyone daring to enter. Language skills are second to none here. Interior is dirty and tired. Speaking of tired, cakes are not too fresh either. And you can get all of this at a premium price. I... More

We decided to wind up here after a meal at one of the restaurants. We wanted to get a hot chocolate and a piece of cake to empower us before the day of walking and sightseeing. The vibe is great with place having seats in the middle but also display cases with all the products. Cakes, savoury stuff they have... More

The coffess are all delicious as well as the pastries. People were eating all sorts of sandwiches and salads, but we went there just for dessert and coffee. The service was efficient and pleasant. The owner is French born and has been in the cCezch republic for many years. I would go back for sure.

Great little cafe in the centre of Prague. Good selection of cakes! I would recommend coming here for lunch or just a coffee.

This little cafe is hard to find. It is hidden in a shopping mall which boasts 200 shops, and close to, just opposite, the Municipal Hall in Prague. It is on the lower floor (-1) of a five storey mall, and at the foot of the escalator. The snacks are delicious, and very very reasonably priced. Having been ripped off in... More

Stopped for hot chocolate and cake. Waited ages to be served and when we were the girl was unfriendly and disinterested. Paid more for this than we did for a 2 course meal with beers last night Value for money - NO.

Two of the three waitresses seemed to have an off-day. My friend asked (in fluent Czech) for a decaf. The waitress frowned upon this as if my friend wasn't serious. She had to repeat her request. A normal coffee was brought by another waitress, who expressed clear displeasure when asked for the correct one. Coffee was finally good though as... More

On our visit to prag everytime we tried to do something different. But the only thing that we did every noon was to go au gourmand to eat fraiser and a coffee. İ still can remember the delicious taste of the cream , smell of the milk and butter... Was just perfect

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
