Was trying to find something halal. Just spotted out this restaurant. All lamp meat dishes are halal. Chicken available is not halal so beware of it. Anyways I ordered Lamp Biryani and it was not bad.

The atmosphere was cozy and our waitress was very friendly. The food was very good, so much so that we came back a second time! Just be careful with the hot peppers...

First of all: there isn't THE indian cuisine. India is a huge country with a lot of influences from different people /cultures. So it is here a bangladeshian influence but still indian dishes. Been here a couple of times and we are always eating the hottest dish "Phall". It was always tasty. Prices are reasonable. Only bad thing are the... More

Very cozy Indian restaurant in the city. They have also take-away bar next behind the corner. Had two dinners here. First time tried the chicken phall, which is very hot, if you're not used. I liked it very much; the portion was quite simple, but very tasty. I recommend the garlic naan, also. Service was polite, prices reasonable.

Decided to get a takeaway from here rather than eat in as we were staying in apartments close by. As dishes go they were enjoyable although not as typical a dish as would be served in the UK. Price of meals is in the higher range of a standrard for an indian takeaway but overall was enjoyable.

It was nice to see an Indian restaurant while we roaming around city center in Prague. It's very affordable. Service was bit slow as there were only one person who was taking order the same person was preparing food as well. But it does not matter if you have few extra minutes to wait. Overall its OK place to grab... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
