Spent several hours with a friend here, enjoying the chill atmosphere and comfy couches. The cappuccino was good and the beers cold and very fairly priced. The traditional Czech potato pancake stuffed with cheese and ham was okay. The waitress was really great, she sat down with us and translated the entire menu into English for us. Also, they played... What a lovely little bar - full of cool hipster types, walls full of selling art. The type of place you could go on your own and sit with a book and a beer or maybe strike up a conversation with numerous customers holding up the bar. The two bar staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful.

Nice place and good beer. Service was a bit too slow, but otherwise nothing to complain. Cafe included also non-smoke area.

A great little cafe popular with students. Mostly locals, though the occasional foreigner has been known to wander in off the street.

Quite good vegetable soup was followed by semi-undone potato pancankes. And very unprofessional unhelpful approach starting with unclear phone call for reservation, chaos during seeking reserved place, surprising behaviour of waitress while ordering (e.g. bringing only one menu list for 4 people) and rude approach to people ordering late night coffee and cakes. For staff - should you be tired... More

This is the most average bar I have been to. Aside from one big picture on the wall it seems quite indifferent. Good for talking.

This place was recommended to me. It was very crowded but we found a place and stayed here for a few hours. You can meet interesting people there, mostly some students and artistic people. It was very near the city centre. What I really liked was the atmosphere.

Its not the best place for drinks and food, but its the place where the local intellectual and artistic crowd meets. You might meet some interesting people here and they will most likely all speak english.

It's situated not so far from Old Town Square, but prices are very reasonable! They have a number of dishes of Czech cuisine - they are not bad, although cooked quickly)). During daytime it's quite nice sitting here - in the evening it's always fool of smoking people(.

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
